Ohio State issues safety notice after three robberies near campus overnight

Three incidents happened over the span of about 4 hours.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating three incidents that happened near Ohio State's campus on Friday and Saturday.

According to a release from Ohio State Public Safety, the first incident just before 11:00 p.m. near Indianola Avenue and 13th Avenue. 

A man was robbed at gunpoint after being approached by a group of four men who demanded money. 

Another incident happened just before midnight on Friday near East Frambes Avenue and Tuller Street. 

Two Ohio State students were approached by five men between the ages of 15-20. One of the suspects had a small gun and demanded the student's money and phones. 

The third incident happened at 3:10 a.m. Saturday morning on High Street near 13th Avenue. 

A man says he was pulled into a dark sedan by three men. The men took the victim's phone before letting him go. 

There is little information on suspects from the three incidents, according to Ohio State Public Safety.
