Men shoot, kill each other in southeast Columbus

Two males have died following a shooting in southeast Columbus Wednesday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two males died following a shooting in southeast Columbus Wednesday.

It happened in the 6700 block of Lagrange Drive shortly before 4 p.m., according to Columbus police. Police identified the victims as 31-year-old Trever B. Williams and 35-year-old Michael C. McKee.

Authorities say when officers arrived they found one male lying on the ground with a gun next to him. Officers found a second man with a gun in close proximity inside a vehicle. He had also been shot.

Police say both Williams and McKee were pronounced dead on scene.

According to police, it appears the men shot and killed each other.

This shooting remains under investigation.
