COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police say a 59-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting that happened Saturday night in the Franklinton area.
Officers went to the 200 block of Avondale Avenue near Sullivant Avenue just after 10 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
Police say when officers arrived, they found a victim who had been shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities say there is currently no information about a suspect.
The incident remains under investigation.
