COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Dublin Thursday morning, according to a release from police.
The incident happened at 8:54 a.m. on Avery Road, between Rings Road and Cara Road.
The pedestrian who police identified as 40-year-old Christopher Arrigo, was taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital where he later died from his injuries, the release says.
The driver of the vehicle is reportedly in communication and cooperating with Dublin police.
While police investigate the scene, Avery Road is closed in both directions near the location of the incident.
