Police identify man killed in shooting near Harrison Smith Park

Police were called to the 3200 block of Kenray Drive around 10:35 p.m.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police said a man was shot and killed Thursday evening.

Officers were called to the 3200 block of Kenray Drive in northeast Columbus around 10:35 p.m.

They found 32-year-old Carrington Willis shot.

Medics took him to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not provided any suspect information and have made no arrests.

Three houses were also struck during the shooting, police said.

This is the 112th homicide in Columbus in 2020.
