ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff's Office said an inmate who walked away from a work detail on the east side of Chillicothe on April 2 is now in custody.
The sheriff's office said on April 13 that James Umphries II was found at home on Stone Road thanks to an anonymous tip.
Umphries is serving a sentence on misdemeanor charges.
