COLUMBUS, Ohio – A former nurse at the Ohio State University is accused of pretending to have cancer and getting money from other people as a result of claiming to be sick.
Tawni Fuller was indicted in Delaware County Common Pleas Court this week.
According to the indictment, Fuller went on with the ruse in 2016.
She is facing felony charges of telecommunications fraud, theft, and forgery.
A spokesperson with OSU said Fuller resigned in lieu of termination.
Fuller is scheduled to be arraigned in July.
