Police said another man was injured in the shooting and no suspects have been arrested.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — An 18-year-old man was killed in a shooting on the southeast side of Columbus Tuesday morning, according to police.

Police said two people walked into a home in the 800 block of South 22nd Street, near Sycamore Street, around 3:30 a.m. and shot two men.

Both men were taken to Grant Medical Center.

Waki Bryant, 18, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Edward Miller, 26, is being treated for his injuries and police described his condition as stable.

Neighbors say they are saddened to see a young man who just graduated high school and had so much promise, killed in such a violent way.

“He's kind of fresh of breath air for this neighborhood. I never saw him do anything in this neighborhood. He was always happy and smiling and singing to himself,” neighbor Carly said.

Police are looking for the suspects.

Witnesses told police one of the suspects is a black man with dreadlocks, is about 5-feet 5-inches tall, and was wearing a white T-shirt, tan pants, black and white shoes, and a ski mask.

Police said the other suspect was described by witnesses as a black man with facial hair with gray patches, is about 6-feet 2-inches tall, and was seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, and a black hat.
