COLUMBUS, Ohio — Power has been restored to the majority of customers in parts of Columbus Saturday.

AEP Ohio reported that more than 2,000 customers were without power in parts of Columbus.

This was the second power outage in the area of Grandview Heights and north Columbus in the last two days. Nearly the same amount of customers were affected Saturday evening.

Though the Excessive Heat Warning ended Saturday night, central Ohio still dealt with temperatures in the 80s and 90s.

AEP Ohio tells 10TV the issue occurred at the same station on Hess Street that led to the outage Saturday.

AEP Ohio says it is not believed to be connected to Saturday night's outage.
