The Columbus Division of Police said they seized enough fentanyl on Thursday that could kill hundreds of thousands of people.
The division’s In/Tac Unit worked with patrol officers in serving a search warrant in the 1500 block of Genessee Avenue.
Officers seized 763 grams of fentanyl, with a street value of $76,200. According to police, 2 mg of fentanyl is considered the average fatal dose for a person.
They also found heroin, cocaine, marijuana and three semi-automatic guns.
Sixty-one-year-old Kelvin Brown was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of heroin.
