We are saddened to report the loss of a 10TV family member.
10TV chief meteorologist Chris Bradley has passed away at the age of 53. He died Wednesday at his home in Worthington.
Chris was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in March of 2017. Since then, he went through several rounds of chemo and other attempts at treatment including clinical drug trials and a stem cell transplant.
On Nov. 19, Chris announced that he was transitioning from palliative care to hospice care at home with his family.
"Jason and the kids have been so loving and devoted to my care all this time. Truly, we have fought this disease together. Our love for each other is so strong and saying goodbye has been excruciating for all of us," Chris wrote.
In that post, Chris also thanked the community for the love and support shown to him and his family over the years -- both in sickness and in health. Chris said that he's "loved being a part of this community."
He leaves behind a husband, Jason, and two children, Spencer and Maria.
