Liberty Elementary school students in Worthington have one more thing to check in before checking out for summer: the school library books.

Mary Evelyn Smith sends a reminder to students by singing "Bring Back Your Books," a parody to Walk the Moon's hit song, "Shut Up and Dance."

Smith says the musical message is somewhat effective on getting students to check their backpacks and return the books they borrowed.

"I usually see a little rush of books coming back the day after the video is released," Smith writes to 10TV in an email. "Regardless of the books, I'd say it's 100 percent effective when it comes to building a positive and fun community here at school."

This is the third video Smith created. Her last video was to the tune of "Sorry" by Justin Bieber.

"The kids anxiously await the video release (the song choice stays top secret until they see it in person," Smith writes in an email. "The teachers have a blast being in front of the camera. It is nice to have fun and be silly together at the end of the year."

The last day of classes for Worthington City Schools is Wednesday, May 22.
