'Armed & dangerous' suspect wanted after 20-year-old shot to death in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in southeast Columbus.

The shooting happened shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of Chatterton Road.

Ahpercy Lee Rayion Wade Donaldson was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot by responding officers. Donaldson was taken to Mount Carmel East in life-threatening condition where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are looking for 19-year-old Xavier Jackson in connection with the shooting. Police say he is armed and dangerous and should not be confronted.
