2019 Wildlights kick off at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

POWELL, Ohio — The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium has announced this year’s schedule for the Wildlights.

Visitors can see the lights on display starting Nov. 15. The event runs through Jan. 5.

The Wildlights will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Zoo members can visit a day earlier for the lighting event on Nov. 14 at Conservation Lake starting at 5:45 p.m.

Behind the Scenes: How Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo comes to life

Hours:

  • Sundays through Thursdays: 5-9 p.m.
  • Fridays and Saturdays: 5-10 p.m.
  • (The Zoo opens daily at 10 a.m.)

Attractions include:

  • Sparkling Spruce (Located in Entry Village)
  • Holiday Rhythms Around the Watering Hole (Animated Light Shows located at Conservation Lake)
  • Rudolph and Friends (Located in Asia Quest)
  • Polar Bear Express (Located in North America)
  • Camel Rides (Located in North America)
  • Santa’s Holiday Home (Located in North America at the Battelle Ice Bear Outpost)
  • Jingle Ball (Animated light display located in Shores Play Park)
  • Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer 4-D Theater Experience (Located in Shores Park)
  • 1914 Mangels/Illions Carousel (Located south of Shores Park)
