COLUMBUS, Ohio — An 18-year-old man died in the hospital on Saturday after being shot in a Hilltop neighborhood on Sept. 7.
According to Columbus police, they were called to the 400 block of South Wheatland Avenue around 9:50 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
When officers arrived on scene, they found Lorenzo Reynolds suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Reynolds was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. He died on Saturday at 2:53 p.m.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
No suspects have been identified.
This is the 108 homicide in Columbus in 2020.
