LANCASTER, Ohio — A motorcyclist is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Lancaster on Saturday.

The Lancaster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Brian Taylor, 39, was traveling south on Sheridan Drive on his motorcycle around 8:30 p.m. when he went into other lanes of traffic, striking an SUV.

After hitting the SUV, the motorcycle hit a pickup truck that was sitting in a driveway on Sheridan Drive. There was an individual in the truck at the time.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. OSHP says he was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the SUV was treated for possible injuries on scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
