Emergency crews rushed a child from a home in Brown Township where authorities have confirmed they responded to a possible drowning.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said a caller reported around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday that a child was found unresponsive at a home on Morris Road.
Deputies said the child was an eight-year-old boy.
He was rushed to Nationwide Children's Hospital by Norwich Township paramedics. An emergency dispatcher for the township said the boy was unresponsive and not breathing at the time.
