Boy, 15, Shot In Head Outside Easton Business

Police hope to view surveillance video in hopes of finding the person who shot a teenager in the back of the head, leaving him in critical condition. Get details.

Police said that a 15-year-old boy was shot in the head after a disturbance took place Saturdaynight at Easton Town Center.

Andrake D. Kelley was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital in critical condition,10TV's Jason Frazer reported.

The shooting was reported at about 8:20 p.m. outside the Diamond Cellar, located at 3960 NewBond St., in the north district of Easton Town Center on the west side of the property.

According to police, Kelley, 15, was involved in a dispute at the Apple Store, locatedat 4070 The Strand East.  The argument then continued outside and the shooting took place afew blocks away.

Police said that Kelley suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to a statement from Easton Town Center, Columbus police officers immediately securedthe area.

There was no immediate word of any arrests but police said that they were speaking with a personof interest in the case.

Investigators said that they were planning to review surveillance video taken from the area inhopes of learning more about the events surrounding the shooting.
