The review board says a police-involved shooting in December of 2011 was a justified use of firearms.
On Dec. 10, 2011, police officers took a delivery of a pizza when the driver believed he was going to be robbed.
Police had been investigating a series of pizza delivery robberies in the Hilltop area at the time.
When one of the officers took the delivery to the home, which was later determined to be vacant, he was confronted by two males.
Police said that one of the individuals who confronted the officer disguised as a delivery man was shot in the leg and transported for medical attention.
On Friday, Columbus police said that the Firearms/Police-Involved Death Review Board found that the officers actions were justified.
