22 Arrested In Columbus During Immigration Sweep

More than 3,100 people were arrested as part of a six-day nationwide immigration sweep by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement department, 10TV News reported Monday.

The sweep targeted convicted criminal aliens, immigration fugitives and immigration violators.

Sixty-three arrests were made in Ohio, and 22 people were arrested in Columbus.

Most of the people arrested were men from several Central American countries as well as Iraq, Canada and the United Kingdom, 10TV News reported.
