Two fires are burning in Nassau County and St. Johns County and smoke is visible in the area around them.
The fire in Nassau County rekindled earlier in the day on Tuesday from a 350-acre prescribed burn close to Interstate 95. Annaleasa Winter, spokesperson for the Florida Forest Service, said that the fire remained inside containment lines and has already burned itself out.
Humans are believed to be behind the 150 acre fire and do not know whether it was accidental or on purpose. The fire is 85 percent contained near Stratton Road.
