Columbus police looking for 'armed and dangerous' 18-year-old murder suspect

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police said a 16-year-old is arrested for murder and an 18-year-old is wanted on the same charge in connection to a deadly shooting that happened on July 11

Officers were called to the 1100 block of McCarley Drive East on the southwest side of the city just after 11:20 p.m. for a report of someone shot in a parking lot. The area is near Clime Road and Big Run Park.

A man, 25-year-old Robert Bedard, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Bedard was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition where he later died.

On July 16, police arrested and charged a 16-year-old Bryan Lazo with murder.

Police said they identified 18-year-old Kevin Real as a suspect and a warrant was filed for his arrest on a charge of murder.  

Police are looking for Real and said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
