New Search Planned For Woman Missing Since 2003

Carla Losey worked at a bar in the 2300 block of West Broad in 2003.

The bar doesn't exist anymore, but at least two dozen officers and 50 volunteers will canvas the area Saturday, trying to get new information in this cold case. 

It was New Year's Eve 2002, and 20-year-old Losey working at El Grotto.

She left work shortly after ringing in 2003 and simply disappeared.

Police are taking a fresh look at the case and want to canvas the area where she went missing and where she hung out, They will be passing out fliers between 11 and 3 p.m. on  Saturday.

It’s a case that sticks with detectives, and Carla's mom hasn't given up hope.

“I just beg of anybody that knows anything at all of the night she disappeared, or even the day after, to contact the police department because our family isn't complete without her,” said Pam Conner.
