Nearly 2,000 in central Ohio without power following winter storm


UPDATE 7 a.m.

AEP is reporting around 600 outages in central Ohio.


Original report:

Nearly 2,000 AEP customers are without power across Central Ohio Saturday morning.

As of 4:15 a.m., AEP reports 1,953 customers in the area are without power.

There are nearly 800 AEP customers without power in Franklin County. AEP says power will be restored to those customers by 5 a.m.

Around 600 are without power in Granville. AEP expects power to be restored by 9:30 a.m.
