COLUMBUS – Giant Eagle has started a delivery service that will bring groceries to your front door.
The Curbside Express Home Delivery service launched Tuesday at Giant Eagle stores in central Ohio.
The service allows customers to choose from 45,000 items, including fresh produce, meat, seafood, bakery items, refrigerated and frozen items, and cleaning items.
“Giant Eagle first launched our online ordering and curbside pickup service in central Ohio during the summer of 2015, and today thousands of area customers place orders with us each month,” said Giant Eagle spokesperson Dan Donovan. “We are excited to take this unique convenience to the next level with an innovative home delivery solution, giving customers access to nearly our entire store without ever having to leave home.”
HOW IT WORKS
The company has partnered with Deliv to take orders from the store to customer’s doorstep.
You can place your order at CurbsideExpress.com.
Orders must be placed by 11:59 p.m. for next day delivery. An order can be placed up to seven days in advance and will be scheduled a delivery day and time. There will be a flat $12.95 delivery charge but the first order you place is free.
The program will accept eCoupons and payment for orders will be accepted online at the time of checkout through a credit or debit card including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Customers will be able to earn fuelperks+ perks on all Curbside Express home delivery and store pickup orders.
