Marion hot dog stand owner, 2 others accused of drug trafficking

Marion police have arrested the owner of a hot dog stand and two others on suspicion of drug trafficking.

The MARMET/METRICH Drug Task Force with police and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office served two search warrants in relation into the owner of Royal Dogs selling drugs.

The owner, Illya Green, along with Salena Glenn and Kevin Swift were arrested on drug charges related to the warrant at the first location on W. Columbia Street.

Police said formal charges will be submitted to Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan’s office.

At the second location on Kibby Drive, authorities found evidence of drug trafficking.

Between the two locations, authorities seized 150 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of heroin, 39 Oxycodone pills, 60 grams of marijuana, and $2,000 in cash. The street value of the drugs is $18,500.

The investigation is still ongoing.
