Marion County man indicted on 153 counts including rape of a child

A Marion County man has been indicted with 153 felony counts including multiple counts of rape of a child under the age of 13.

Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan announced the grand jury’s indictment on Thursday.

Forty-five-year-old Jerry Kevin Miller was indicted for multiple sexual offenses involving creation and possession of child pornography.

“Miller engaged in sexual conduct with a child over a period of years. Miller photographed some of the sexual conduct and possessed these images which were discovered during a search warrant on his residence,” Grogan said.

The investigation was conducted the Marion County Sheriff’s Office after the victim told family and law enforcement. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation also assisted in the investigation.

The indictment includes eight counts of rape, 16 counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of sexual battery, 14 counts of kidnapping with specification of a sexual motivation, three counts of importuning, three counts of disseminating matter harmful to juvenile, 72 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, 33 counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity oriented material or performing and one count of aggravated possession of drugs.

Miller is currently being held in the Multi County Corrections Center on a $500,000 bond. He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
