Man Who Admitted To Bestiality Offers Dog-Sitting Services, Arrested

Police on Friday arrested a man who admitted to having sex with his dog.

According to Shelby police, Peter Bower violated the terms of his probation by posting on a Web site that he was available to dog-sit.

His post also stated that he recently lost his two dogs and missed them, 10TV News reported.

According to Bower's probation officer, Bower is not allowed to be around animals, 10TV News reported.

Bower avoided jail time in November after taking a plea deal in exchange for a "no contest" plea to charges of animal cruelty. Bowers was sentenced to community service, mandatory counseling
and was banned from owning animals.

Evidence presented during the 2011 case contained a love letter addressed to his dog, Maggie. He admitted to being in love with her and "making love" to Maggie, 10TV News reported.
