Man wanted for murder of Columbus woman arrested in Kansas

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a 53-year-old woman has been arrested.

The Delaware County Sheriff's office confirms that Justin Eastman was arrested in Lawrence, Kansas by troopers with the Kansas State Highway Patrol.

Authorities have been searching for Eastman in connection with the death of Donna Harris, whose body was found in a rural wooded area off of Sherman Road in Berlin Township on Sunday morning.

Harris’ manner of death has not been released due to the ongoing investigation. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.

Eastman was arrested without incident and is currently being held at the Douglas County Jail in Lawrence. Eastman is currently facing a charge of aggravated murder. Police say additional charges are expected.

According to police, a second person, 32-year-old Ashley Quick, was arrested at her Columbus home by detectives from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and CPD officers. Currently, Quick is charged with complicity to robbery, though investigators say additional charges could follow.

Quick appeared in court Tuesday morning and the judge set her bond at $1,000,000 cash surety. She was also ordered not to have contact with Eastman.

The case remains under investigation.
