Man killed in North Linden shooting identified by police

COLUMBUS, Ohio— Police are investigating a deadly shooting in north Columbus Tuesday night.

Police were called to the 900 block of Moon Road around 9:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found one victim. The victim was pronounced shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Police identified him as 20-year-old Desmond Johnson.

There is currently no suspect information.

This is the 78th homicide in the city of Columbus this year.

A man was killed on Moon Road last week. It is currently unknown if the two shootings are connected.
