LICKING COUNTY - The Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.

Authorities said two vehicles collided near the intersection of U.S. 62 and Beech Road around 6 a.m. Thursday.

Megan Busch, 19, of Bladensburg, was driving a Pontiac G6 westbound on U.S. 62 when she stopped to make a left turn onto Beech Road.

Authorities said Robert Murphy, 47, was driving a Ford F-150 when he illegally passed multiple vehicles on the left and collided with Busch.

The collision sent Murphy's truck off the south side of U.S. 62 and he was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Murphy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, according to OSHP.

Busch was treated and released on the scene for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
