Man in custody after deadly stabbing in east Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- A man is dead after a stabbing in east Columbus

Officers responded to the 300 block of Stoddart Avenue around 10:15 Monday night for a call of a possible shooting.

When they arrived, they found a man in his 20s who was stabbed.

The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center where he later died around 10:50 p.m. He has since been identified by police as 20-year-old Ce'Marlo Antonio Fletcher.

Police have arrested 57-year-old Gregory Huish and charged him with murder.

Police said Huish and Fletcher lived in the same home and the stabbing was the result of an argument between them.

This is the 66th homicide in Columbus in 2019.
