Man Charged For Allegedly Punching Postal Worker, Attempting To Steal Mail Bag


A man is charged with robbery after allegedly trying to steal a postal worker’s mail bag.

According to court documents, Jason Richard Jordan allegedly punched a postal worker on June 10 during the theft attempt.

Documents stated that Jordan punched the man in the face, causing bruising around his eye.

Police said that Jordan fled without the mail bag and was later identified in a photo array and was charged.

The alleged incident took place at about 11:45 a.m. in the 2600 block of North High Street.

Jordan was jailed on $150,000 bond on Tuesday.
