COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Since opening the Upper Arlington retail store Fabtique, Pat Barker and Amber Wilson have worked to create a fun and vibrant shopping experience.

But a state order to close all non-essential business has forced local business owners to create a new shopping experience.

The owners tell 10TV since shoppers are no longer allowed inside the Lane Avenue Store, they are bringing the products to them via social media.

Three days a week for about 30 minutes, either Pat or Amber showcase some of their newest items via Facebook Live. The "QVC" style show and tell discusses, price, fit and also shows what other items pair well together.

“We’ve been able to connect with our customers, we are able to show them clothes,” Barker said.

“Really what it taught us is there are other ways to get to customers and so we’re excited, because in the long run, I feel like we’ve been able to grow our social media audience and stay in touch with our customers.”
