Each year cities around the world, including Columbus, come together to support research for breast cancer through the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

One hundred percent of the proceeds made through the yearly race go towards the organization's mission to fund local programs for breast health education, screening and treatment, along with research.

It’s looking like we will be dealing with some rounds of rain on Saturday. Right now, models are hinting that the best chances for rain and storms will be in the late morning and afternoon but some stray showers will be possible when the race kicks off.

Plan to bring the rain gear but while the skies will be gloomy and we’ll see chances for rain, temperatures will be cooler, with race time temperatures in the 60’s.
