A month ago, IHOP announced it was changing it's name to IHOb. The "b" standing for burgers.
But not even a month later, the restaurant chain said it was kidding.
In a Facebook post, IHOP promoted it's 60 cent short stacks on July 17 for the restaurant's 60th birthday.
The post reads: "That’s right, IHOP! We’d never turn our back on pancakes (except for that time we faked it to promote our new burgers)."
IHOP's Twitter bio now also reads: "If at first you don't pancake... pancake, pancake again."
