It’s-a me, Mario!

Today is National Mario Day – March 10th is the date because you can abbreviate MAR 10 like so and it sort’ve makes MAR10 look like Mario.

To celebrate video gaming’s most famous plumber, Nintendo has partnered with Google to add Mario Time to Google Maps.

Mario Kart will replace the blue navigation arrow once you follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you update your Google Maps app.
  2. Load up Google Maps and enter a destination, but instead of pressing start, press the yellow "?" icon. This will summon Mario.
  3. If you are really bored, press the yellow "?" 100 times to hear it make the 1-up sound from the Super Mario Bros games.
  4. Let's a' go!

This only lasts one week so you better get going. Just watch out for bananas and koopa shells!
