HOOFit Walk: What to seek out and avoid in a healthy diet

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Dozens of people showed up to commit to be fit and learn about health and wellness at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Thursday.

All summer long, doctors from OhioHealth will join forces with animal educators at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to give walkers a fun, learning experience while they exercise.

The topic: What to seek out and avoid in a healthy diet.

OhioHealth doctors shared tips on how to improve your diet and when to buy organic. They also explained the benefits on clean eating.

"By eating healthy, by doing routine exercise, we can avoid medications, we can avoid a lot of medical issues and the complications that come with being overweight," Dr. John Sutter, an OhioHealth Primary Care Physician, said.
