Groveport Madison student charged with inducing panic over threats

A Groveport Madison student has been arrested after authorities say he is responsible for making multiple threats to the school district.

Madison Township Police said the student is responsible for the threats from Monday and Tuesday.

The student is facing a felony charge of inducing panic.

All Groveport Madison Schools were closed Tuesday due to the threats.

Jeff Warner, a spokesperson with the district, said they were closing out of an "abundance of caution."
