Grove City man encourages men to live healthy lifestyles


Grove City's Matt Snezik went to his doctor in late January for his annual physical.

When he stepped on the scale, he didn't like what he saw. At more than 300 pounds, he was as heavy as he had ever been.

Since then, Snezik has re-committed himself to his health. At the urging of his wife, and with the help and support of the Grove City YMCA, Snezik is down more than 30 pounds and feeling happier and healthier each day.

Snezik revealed how he did it and says if he can do it, anybody can do it.

  1. Commit. He is at the Grove City YMCA 4-5 days a week.
  2. Accountability. He and his wife have gone into this lifestyle change together.
  3. Food Prep. Snezik says he and his wife use time on Sundays to prep food for the week. He says it helps cut down on food temptations outside their menu.
