Former Ohio State QB Tate Martell granted waiver for immediate eligibility at Miami

Former Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell has been granted a waiver to play immediately at the University of Miami.

Martell announced back in January he was leaving the Buckeyes for the Hurricanes.

In 2018, Martell played in six games, completing 23 passes for 269 and one touchdown. He also rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Martell has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
