Firefighters battled flames for hours after hunting lodge caught fire in Pataskala

LICKING COUNTY -- A hunting lodge in Pataskala was damaged by fire early Monday morning.

The West Licking Fire District was called at 7:51 a.m to a fire alarm in the 8800 block of National Road SW in Etna Township.

When firefighters arrived, the Ohio Pro Hunting Reserve lodge was on fire. Officials said firefighters battled the flames for hours.

Officials say additional resources were requested to help transport water to the lodge, which is located nearly a half of a mile from the road.

There are no reports of injuries at this time, according to authorities.

Officials do not know the cause of the fire at this time.
