Firefighters battle second-alarm fire in south Columbus


COLUMBUS - Firefighters are on the scene of a second-alarm fire in south Columbus.

It happened just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Grant Avenue and East Main Street.

Battalion Chief Steve Martin with the Columbus Division of Fire told 10TV the building was under construction and there was a standpipe inside not working.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
