A family from out-of-town is asking for help finding their daughter’s teddy bear after a backpack was stolen from their vehicle outside of a Hilliard restaurant.

Sakeena Naqvi and her family discovered that their car had been broken into while eating breakfast at the Perkin’s restaurant near Hilliard-Rome Road and I-70 Saturday morning. Among the items taken was a bookbag belonging to her 10-year-old daughter. Although the bag contained electronic devices and other items, the family is asking for help locating a stuffed Winnie the Pooh plush that they say is irreplaceable.

“Winnie is a part of her life and she has had it since she was born - she's now 10 years old and completely heartbroken,” Naqvi tells 10TV.

She is hopeful that the bag and bear may have been dumped in the area. The bag is a brightly colored Jansport backpack with a floral design. The bear is a yellow Winnie the Pooh wearing a “baby’s first pooh bear” t-shirt.
