This week on Face The State:

  • Call him Governor DeWine - Mike DeWine has officially been sworn into office. The first two thing on his agenda: kids and jobs. We look at what his promises mean and the likelihood that he can keep them while leading the state of Ohio.
  • Kasich in the spotlight - Not 24 hours after leaving office, John Kasich made big moves. The former Ohio Governor landed a talent agent, published an Op-Ed in USA Today and signed a deal as a commentator with CNN.
  • Women leading locally and nationally - Following the 'pink wave' of November, women continue their moves in Ohio and nationally. Three out of four leaders in the Ohio House will be women. Beyond that, at least two female senators have announced a run for the White House. Our guests answer the question: Could this really be the 'year of the woman'.

Guest this week:

  • Bradley Sinnott - Attorney with the Vorys Columbus office
  • Sandy Theis- Former journalist and Executive Director of Progress Ohio
  • Jeremy Pelzer - Cleveland.com reporter
