Here are a few events happening in Columbus this week.

Presidents Day at the Ohio History Connection

  • Feb. 10. programming included with museum admission, $5 for kids $10 for adults
  • Enjoy special programming and family-friendly activities.
  • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Make Your Own Campaign Ribbon & Button - Think you have what it takes? Make buttons and ribbons to get the word out about your candidacy. See real buttons and ribbons from our collection to inspire you.
  • 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.: So You Think You Know Your Presidents: Do you know which president loved cats? Or who worked in all three branches of government? Test your skills in our trivia challenge.
  • Noon and 1 p.m.: Presidents Grant (Noon) and Lincoln (1 p.m.) will be on hand to answer your questions about presidential life. All Day: Presidential Photo Booth - Strike a pose! We'll have presidential props on hand to help you create the perfect shot!

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Blackhawks

  • February 24 at Nationwide Arena, tickets starting at $60
  • Come cheer on the Columbus Blue Jackets as they face off with the Chicago Blackhawks at Nationwide Arena.

An Art Book Affair, Beeler Gallery at Columbus College of Art & Design

  • Saturday, Feb. 24, 12 – 5 p.m. & Sunday, Feb. 25, 12 – 4 p.m. Free admission.
  • Featuring rare and limited edition art books by local and international independent publishers, and the participation of Detroit Art Book Fair, Mexico City's Index Art Book Fair, and Copenhagen's One Thousand Books.
