Dublin man killed in crash on I-270 in north Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A man from Dublin is dead after a crash on I-270 in north Columbus.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday on I-270 east of US-23, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said 38-year-old David Robers of Dublin was driving a Jeep when he lost control and hit the middle barrier.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

I-270 eastbound was closed at SR-315 for several hours but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation but the sheriff's office said there is no indication alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
