Crime of the week: Police searching for suspect in Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS - Columbus police are looking for a man they believe was involved in a shooting that left a man dead.

On December 10, 2017, police officers responded to a double shooting in the 2400 block of Ottawa Drive.

The victims involved in the shooting were a father and daughter, Van Johnson and Elyzabeth Johnson.

Jordyn Preston, who is Elyzabeth's boyfriend, was allegedly responsible for the shooting, according to police.

Emergency responders took both victims to Riverside Hospital.

The father later died from his injuries. The daughter survived.

Police are still looking for Preston.
