Columbus State Delaware campus closed after reported threat to student

DELAWARE, Ohio - Officials closed the Columbus State Community College Delaware Campus Monday morning due to a police investigation.

A spokesperson for CSCC says they closed out of an abundance of caution. A student was reportedly threatened by her boyfriend and officials said they didn't want to take any chances.

The school sent out this text alert to students:

CSCC Alert: The Delaware campus has closed for the remainder of Monday, March 25. All classes and activities at Delaware are canceled, and will resume Tuesday, March 26.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says the man accused of making the threat has been taken into custody.

Classes are expected to resume Tuesday, March 26.
