Columbus police search for suspects in bike robbery that left man injured
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are looking for information to help solve a case that left one man injured after a bike robbery in south Columbus.
On Thursday, June 21, 2018, just before 8:45 p.m., Columbus Police was called to the area of South 5th Street and East Barthman Avenue, on a report of a man lying unconscious in the street.
Investigators say the man was out for a bike ride and was robbed. The man sustained several broken ribs and a fracture to his face.
The victim’s black Cervelo bike was taken and valued at several thousand dollars, according to authorities.
